The Student Recreation center has locker rooms located near the pool on the new side of the building. There are also newly renovated locker rooms located on the old side of the building near the racquetball courts.

Members can rent a locker in the locker rooms for $25 a semester or $50 for a full year. Shower towel rental is $.50 a day or $15 a semester.

Guest may purchase a guest pass at the Front Desk for $6 a day.

You can purchase a semester pass for $50.00 or a single Group X class for $4.00.  Group X class schedules can be seen here.

Faculty/Staff may purchase memberships for the semester for $94 or they can purchase a full year membership for $260.  For more information, check our membership page.

Depending on what type of parking permit you have will determine where you should park. Most members park in the Speck Parking Garage located next to the fields.  The campus parking map is available here.

Members may check-out a lock to use for the day for free at the front desk.

Members may grab a work out towel for free at the Front Desk and drop it in our towel bins before they leave the building.

When members come to the Student Rec Center for the first time, they should ask the Front Desk Staff to register their hand. Once a member has registered their hand, they can type in their ID number and scan their hand to enter the building through the turnstile. Members will no longer need to bring their ID card once they have registered their hand. Members can still bring their ID and scan it underneath the hand scanner if they do not wish to register their hand.

Current Texas State students, Faculty/Staff, spouses or dependants of students/faculty/staff, and Alumni are eligible to use the Student Recreation Center. Current students pay the Recreation fee with their tuition. Faculty/Staff, spouses, and Alumni may purchase memberships at the Front Desk.

Members may only bring drinks in that are in sealed containers through the turnstiles. Eating and drinking is permitted in the lounge/snack bar area only.

The Student Recreation Center accepts Discover, American Express, Mastercard and Visa credit cards, cash, check, and Bobcat Bucks.
