The Texas State Golf Course is open to University students, faculty, staff and the community. The golf course is located on Post Road just off Aquarena Springs Drive, across from Bobcat Stadium.
The historic course was designed by Arthur Birch Rogers and built in 1928. Rogers is best known as developer of the headwaters of the San Marcos River as a tourist and recreational attraction.
The regulation 9-hole course features 2,850 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 34. The course offers scenic views of Spring Lake and plenty of wildlife. The course provides a fun place to learn the game or sharpen your fundamentals.  Participants can play 9-holes in approximately 90-minutes.
Amenities include a chipping and putting green for practice, a mini Pro Shop for last-minute golf items, cart rentals, club rentals and water stations throughout the course.
The course is open year round from dawn to dusk and the friendly staff is eager to serve. Students are eligible for special green and membership fees. For more information please call us at 512-245-7593.
