 | Sven Fuhrmann | I like to explore places by walking. This slower travel mode allows seeing details of our surroundings that are rarely recognized out of a fast moving car window. Maps allow us to be armchair travelers and actively experience an area. The designed walking maps for the Aquarena Center serve a dual purpose: they map walking trails and allow exploring the Aquarena Center. |
 | Clayton Grant | I am a grad student here at Texas State University. I'm currently getting my Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on advertising and PR. I finished my undergrad at St. Edward's University in Austin with a bachelors in English Writing and Rhetoric and have since then tried to expand my knowledge and abilities where ever I could. This project was started as a means to get more people active and aware of the many beautiful trails in and around San Marcos. |

 | Timothy Johnston | I am currently a graduate student in the physical education department at Texas State University. My goal is to provide members of the community with all the necessary information to develop positive physical activity habits. With this project I hope to inform the people of San Marcos about walking and running trails located in their community. |
 | Tinker D. Murray, Ph.D., FACSM | I am a Professor in the HPER Department and I am interest in promoting physical activity opportunities for all ages. I personally like to jog and ride my hybrid mountain bike. I am excited to team up with my graduate students from HPERD and my colleagues in Geography at Texas State to develop new ideas and strategies to promote walking/hiking trial initiatives on-campus and for the university community. |
 | David Nicosia | Dave is working part-time on a degree in Geography with a specialization in Geographic Information Science. He became involved with this project through an Independent Study with Dr. Sven Fuhrmann. He works for a GIS company in San Marcos that specializes in ranch and rangeland management. A native of San Marcos, he’s known to lift weights at San Marcos Athletic Club and use the resistance machines at the San Marcos Activity Center. Several days a week he can be seen jogging somewhere along the river. |
