Aerobic StudioThe Molly Smith Aerobics studio is a 4,000 square foot room featuring hardwood floors, mirrored walls, high ceilings, and a curved wall of windows. This room is solely for the Fitness program.
Cardio CorridorThe cardio area features a variety of machines. While using one of the machines, you can choose between watching one of the three main TVs, bringing your own headphones and watching a mini TV, or watching the action taking place on the main courts. The cardio area is also used to host Football Frenzy in the Fall and Basketball Bonanza in the Spring.
GymIf you got game or just think you do this is where to bring it! The SRC houses four basketball/volleyball and two badminton courts available for drop-in use. Intramural Sports take advantage of two courts during basketball and volleyball seasons and occasionally the gym plays host to Sport Club competitions.
Multi-Purpose RoomOne multi-purpose room is available on the second floor for activities such as martial arts, cycle classes, and more. This room is carpeted and features plenty of natural light and terrific views of the San Marcos area through its curved wall of windows. This room is available to reserve for use through the Fitness program.
Indoor TrackThe overhead, 3 lane, 1/8 mile indoor track encircles the main gym. Walkers, joggers, and runners enjoy a climate controlled workout above and separate from the main gym floor activities. The track is surfaced in a specialized rubber surface.
RacquetballOur racquetball courts are first class! Of the six courts, four have glass backwalls and two are solid backwalls. The two solid backwalls are convertible to Wallyball. Reservations may be made one day in advance and are accepted (and recommended) at the SRC information desk at no charge. Courts are accessible to all users of the SRC.

Snack BarThe snack bar closes 1/2 hour before the building closes each day. The friendly front desk staff will be happy to serve you at any time.
If you feel dizzy while working out, don’t wait until you pass out and look like the guy falling down the stairs. Take a break, go to the snack bar, check out what we’ve got. Plus, eating something before you work out gives you energy to get the results you are wanting to see!

Weight RoomIn this 6,000 square foot weight/exercise room you can choose from the latest and greatest equipment on the market. Customize your weight workout by training on a full line of Cybex weight selector machines; Hammer Strength; and rubber dumbbells. Warm up on the cardiovascular equipment in the room before beginning your weight workout. The curved, floor to-ceiling-windows, bright interior, and contemporary appointments debunk the dark, stark, and sweaty stereotype of weight rooms.
