Texas State Outdoor Center is sponsoring this course offered by the Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI). A higher level of certification up from the Wilderness First Aid course, the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) is an intense 80-hour course, giving you the necessary training and knowledge to respond to medical emergencies in remote wilderness settings.
