Purpose of Course:
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) uses a scenario-based approach to develop the critical thinking and problem solving skills that drive better patient outcomes. Consistent with AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC. Covers breathing and cardiac emergencies – including CPR, AED, and obstructed airway – for adult, child, and infant patients. Participants recieve a two-year digital “Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers” certificate upon course completion. Courses delivered nationwide by our expert instructors.

Upon successful completion of the American Red Cross course, you will receive a certificate via email approximately 1 week after the last day of the course.  The certification is valid for two years.

Course Materials:
Course materials will be provided in class but you will not be able to take them home. An online version of the manual can be found here:


Refunds or transferring to other classes are only permitted the request is emailed to at least 72 working hours in advance of the class start date.

What to bring/wear:
The following are recommended but not required:
-Comfortable clothing
-Sweatshirt or warm clothes
-Long hair pulled back
-Snacks and drinks allowed but not during mannequin use and please clean up after yourself.
