The Department of Campus Recreation cordially invites our former student and professional staff to attend the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Student Recreation Center.

On February 17, 1994 Texas State opened the first student dedicated recreation facility on campus.

In 2008 the Recreation Center expanded the existing footprint adding a climbing wall, weight room, natatorium, and 4 more basketball courts! The complete expansion and renovation opened to students on April 22, 2009.

We hope you will join us at two family-friendly events Saturday, April 27, 2019. Come for lunch and explore the Student Recreation Center's current layout. Be prepared to play with your family on the courts, in the weight room, on the golf simulator, in the two swimming pools or even on the climbing and bouldering walls!

After time for a break (or San Marcos river fun) meet us at Industry between 5:30-7:30pm for light hors d'oeuvres and relive your glory days! Two drink tickets provided per adult registration. No registration required for children.
