Spring '21 Intramural Sports Schedule

Event: Social Media Challenge

Registration Deadline: 1/21/21

Event Start Date: 1/25/21

Register to have an opportunity to perform a list of tasks for points.  Point total for each challenge will vary per task(s).  Once a task is completed, points will be awarded to overall total.  First to complete all tasks or have the most points awarded by competition end will be declared the winner. Prizes will be awarded for top 3 finishers.  

Competition Rules:

• Must FOLLOW @txstrec on IG or Twitter to enter

• Must be Texas State University student, faculty, or staff.

• Video or photo submissions;

  • *MUST NOT contain explicit content*

  • Challenge task(s) must be performed by team member

• Participants must TAG @txstrec in their video or photo for official submission & use #SRCChallenge2021

• Be safe! Practice social distancing, protect yourself and others.  Here are the CDC Guidelines on how to protect yourself from COVID-19.

We are not encouraging you to physically socialize in this process and do anything you’re not comfortable doing.

Tournament will be an online round robin season for placement in a single elimination bracket. We will generate the schedule and publish it on Fusion IM and this tournament will be played on your own time.

Each captain will communicate via email to set up a time to play their match, once it has been completed, both team captains will submit the scores so that the bracket can be updated and the next rounds of matches can be completed. 

The winning team will receive an Intramural Championship T-Shirt.

The virtual activity can be accomplished by walking, running, or cycling; inside or outside. Please consider social distancing protocols while participating. Please note that runners/walkers can run and report time for a distance longer than a 5K.  Cyclists can report times for a distance longer than 10 miles.

Those that participate and report times will be eligible to win a prize for participating. Please join us!

We will generate the schedule and publish it on Fusion IM and an IM Sports staff member will email each team before each match. This tournament will be played on your own time. Each match must be completed within a 72-hour window from the time the email is sent out from the IM Sports office to the teams.
