  • The Outdoor Recreation program creates custom programming for a range of groups and organizations. Our partnerships have included:

    • Family Weekend Rafting
    • International Office
    • Veterans Alliance at Texas State (VATS)
  • Our most popular offering is rafting the San Marcos river, but our trip leaders can lead and outfit the following activities:

    • Tubing
    • Kayaking
    • Canoeing
    • Paddleboarding
    • Rock climbing
    • Backpacking
    • Hiking
    • Mountain Biking
    • Have multiple days? Mix and Match activities!
  • Depending on the particular activity, travel distance, meal requests, and preferred lodging, the price will fluctuate.

  • Gear: Almost all gear aside from personal clothing and equipment are provided. Some of the most commonly provided and used are things such as:

    • Tents
    • Sleeping bags and pads
    • Propane stoves and cook kits
    • All safety equipment for the particular activity
    • Activity specific gear (ie climbing shoes, paddles, etc)

Transportation: All transportation and reservation accommodations can be provided for a reasonable fee.

Trip Leaders: And last but not least, the guidance of student and professional staff trained in the field of activity which you choose.

  • Custom Trips can last as long as the group requests, depending on time of year and Trip Leader availability.

However, the longer the trip, the more cost effective it becomes for the group.
