University Camp Reservation Request Form

Please note that this is a form for REQUESTING University Camp facilities. This is not an invoice nor is it confirmation that you will be able to utilize the facility(s) you requested.

Due to the nature of our system software and ensuring your selected site is reserved, we are unable to process online payments at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience, and greatly appreciate your patience as we improve our reservation system!

Reservations will be reviewed on a first-in first-served basis, and confirmed within 5 working business days. 

If it is after 5:00pm on a Friday when requesting access to University Camp for that weekend, call (512) 245-2004 or visit the Outdoor Center for last minute availability and reservation.

*University Camp is closed on all Mondays with the exception of Holiday Weekends.*

Attention: Texas State Alumni

As of October 1, 2019, The Texas State Alumni Association has moved away from a dues-based membership model, to one that includes all Bobcat alumni.

In order to better serve our nearly 200,000 Bobcat Alumni that are a part of the Association, Campus Recreation is redeveloping how alumni will be permitted access University Camp. Until these changes can be implemented, only current, paid members of the Alumni Association (with an active Alumni Association number) will be permitted to submit University Camp reservation requests. 

If your Alumni Membership has expired, or your membership began October 1, 2019, then your University Camp reservation request will be denied. We apologize for this inconvenience, and are working diligently to have a new system open to all Bobcat Alumni.

I have read all of the University Camp Rules & Regulations (found in the above hyperlink), agree to abide by them, and will hold my group accountable. *
I understand that I may be fined (as outlined in the above hyperlink) if my group violates any University Camp Rules & Regulations. *
I understand that businesses, that are collecting fees or donations from their participants in conjunction with the use of University Camp, are prohibited. *
I will not hold the Outdoor Center, Department of Campus Recreation, Texas State University, or the State of Texas responsible for injury or accident while at University Camp. *
CANCELLATION POLICY: Any cancellations made prior to ten (10) days before the reservation date will be charged a $20.00 processing fee. Customers who cancel their reservation within ten (10) days prior to the reservation date, will forfeit their reservation fees. No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather. *
Reservations made within 10 days of the reservation date will NOT receive a refund if cancellation occurs. *
Payment for any reservation at University Camp is required within ten (10) days of receiving a reservation confirmation email. Any reservations made within ten (10) days of the date being reserved require payment at time of confirmation. If payment for reservation is not made within the aforementioned timeframe, the reservation may be forfeited. *Texas State University departments may request an exception to this policy. *

University Camp Alcohol Statement

The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on the Texas State University grounds and that your group is being granted special permission to use alcohol at the University Camp. For this privilege, the following conditions must be met.

  • I am 21 years or older;
  • I will not allow minors (under 21) to consume alcohol;
  • I will moderate the behavior of myself and guests while under the influence of alcohol;
  • Alcohol in glass containers and keg beer is prohibited;
  • I will be in attendance for the entire reserved period;
  • I will not allow anyone in my group to drink and drive;
  • I will inform all group members of University Camp Rules and Regulations, and ensure their compliance;
  • Violation of these rules, or abusing the privilege to use University Camp, may result in fines and/or access being revoked
