Climbing Center Memberships can be purchased at the front desk of the Student Recreation Center.
All the staff know me and converse with me, as does everyone there actually! It’s been one of the highlights of my time here at TXST!

January: Free Month
During the month of January the Climbing Center is free to all Student Recreation Center members. In addition, if you decide to purchase your Climbing Center membership in January you will receive a 20% discount!

Gym to Crag Series
What is the Gym to Crag series? Think "Couch to 5k" for the climbing wall! Out Gym to Crag series is 3 parts: Introduction to Climbing 101, Top Rope Belay Clinic 201, Introduction to Outdoor Climbing Trip 301. We will teach you all the skills in the gym before taking you outside to explore some of Texas' finest climbing.

2/14/22 4pm-9pm: Valentines Day Climbing Event
Grab a friend, a partner, or a stranger and come out for an evening of fun! We will have several climbing events and give-a-ways for all! This is a free event for all Texas State students, faculty, and staff with active Student Recreation Center memberships.

2/14/22: Bobcat Boulder League
A members-only bouldering league is hosted for climbers to compete in. Teams enjoy four weeks of league competition followed by playoffs.

4/9/22: Flash Fest Bouldering Competition
2022 will be Texas State's 14th annual Flash Fest Competition. Open to all schools in the state of Texas, people come to connect, compete, and create memories! Prizes are plenty for all to come away with something!
