University Camp in Wimberley Closed Until Further Notice
Due to historic flooding along the Blanco River on Memorial Day Weekend 2015, the Texas State University Camp has been temporarily closed. The camp sustained major damage to the campgrounds and riverfront. None of the lodges were damaged, but debris along the riverfront has created a safety hazard. We expect for the camp to be closed for at least a month and potentially longer as we assess damages and attempt to clean up the property. Please check the Outdoor Recreation website for the most up-to-date information about the University Camp. If you have reservations at the camp this summer, please contact the Outdoor Center for the status of your reservation – 512.245.2004.
